Eight Bakeries in Cuyahoga Falls with Something for your Sweet Tooth

Whether you’re in need of a special dessert to help ring in the New Year or you have a craving for something sweet any time of year, you can find what you’re looking for right here in Cuyahoga Falls. Check out one of these locally-owned bakeries – you won’t regret it!

1.     Oh So Sweet – Located a little outside of Downtown Cuyahoga Falls on Chestnut Boulevard, this little bake shop has a wide selection of treats all scratch-made. If you have trouble making a selection you’re not alone – we bought some for now and some for later!

2.     Pallotta’s Pastries – The tradition of baking lives on in Michael Pallotta, a fourth-generation baker and owner of Pallotta’s Pastries. They also serve breakfast and lunch so stop by for a meal and treat yourself to something tasty for dessert.

3.     Kiflis Bakery and Café – This Eastern European bake shop is the perfect place to stop if you’re looking for an assortment of delicious traditional cookies. They have a number of other offerings including breakfast, lunch, and a selection of Eastern European groceries for purchase.

4.     Blue Door Café and Bakery – Chef Michael Bruno grew up in Germany where he learned some of the traditional techniques of European bread-making. This table service restaurant is well known for having some of the best breakfast around, but make sure you don’t leave without something sweet to accompany your meal.

5.     Vincent’s Bakery – This Italian bakery is family owned and known to have the best cannoli in town. They also do an amazing job with wedding and special order cakes among their many other regular on-hand pastries.

6.     Kneaded Breads and Confections – You might have spotted this little bakery driving down Sackett Avenue. They specialize in bread (of course) and their cinnamon rolls are drool-worthy.

7.     Trigo’s Artisan Bakery – On the corner of Bath and State, this little bakery is a must-try. This is a great place to stop for a crusty baguette or rolls to accompany your New Year’s Feast.

8.     Jubilee Donuts – This Local chain has been serving donuts and pastries to the great Akron area for over two decades, but donut-making has been a family tradition for the owners since 1949. All that practice paid off, these donuts are some of the best around.
